In the legal world, it’d be called circumstantial evidence. On the night of March 3, one of the Los Angeles Zoo’s koalas went missing. Down the road from its enclosure, a tuft of its hair was found. About 400 yards farther down, the koala’s mauled body was found. Something must have been able to carry it that far, park employees figured.
